    Christ Is Risen in English, French, Greek

    "Christ is risen from the dead, trampling down death by death, and on those in the tombs bestowing life!" these are the words words of Paschal Celebration. The Paschal troparion is the characteristic troparion for the celebration of the Orthodox Pascha (Easter) in churches that follow the Byzantine Rite. Its author or date is unknown, but it is assumed to be older than the 6th century.
