Throughout August till mid September, we are running a special campaign with the support of a generous benefactor who has pledged to match all donations by 2x. Father Andrey, the spiritual father of St. Elisabeth Convent, is backing our project 100%, so we are eager to rally support for this important cause.
We are constructing an almshouse that will provide a loving and supportive environment for those with no one else to turn to. Situated adjacent to the Convent's Church of St. John of Shanghai and San Francisco, the almshouse will be a beacon of hope for the lonely, elderly, infirm, and those who lack the care of loved ones. We are also looking forward to collaborating with the medical staff of the nearby psychiatric hospital to ensure comprehensive care for the residents of our almshouse. The devoted sisters of the Convent will dedicate themselves to the well-being of those who will find solace in this blessed home.
As it is written in the Gospel of Matthew, "Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me."
