On the 21st of November, we celebrate the Synaxis of the Archangel Michael and the Other Bodiless Powers. On this day, we commemorate the Chief of the Heavenly Hosts, Archangel Michael, as well as the Other Heavenly Bodiless Powers.

Bringing the Gospel to hospital patients

The monastic and lay sisters and brothers of Saint Elisabeth Convent make helping people in need an important part of their everyday lives. The sisters are inspired to serve with our heavenly intercessor, Saint Elisabeth, and our Saviour.

Visiting the homes of bedridden patients

Back in 2014, we started to help others in a way that we’ve never helped before. We established a Visiting Nurse Service as a part of our social ministry. It has been six years of helping the sick and the elderly.

Rehabilitation Center for homeless and disadvantaged men

We follow the footsteps of our Convent’s heavenly patroness, Saint Elisabeth, therefore helping disadvantaged poor people is one of our top priorities. We have established two rehabilitation centers near Minsk - for women and for men.

The Joy of the Protection of the Theotokos Festival

This autumn JOY Festival offers its visitors an exciting and busy programme including concerts, theatrical productions, workshop sessions, special projects, interactive zones, and other events that will have something for everyone.

Working with special children

It’s been almost twenty years since the sisters and brothers of Saint Elisabeth Convent started to visit the Boarding Home for children with special needs, which is located near the Convent grounds in Minsk.
