The Monastic Choir Of St Elisabeth Convent performs Orthodox Chant of Great Lent "God Is With Us". The Archpriest Andrey Lemeshonok serves the Service. Also, The Monastic Choir performs Orthodox chants and Christian Hymns following ancient Byzantine monastic traditions.
The Monastic Choir grew out of an amateur choir of the sisters of mercy. When St Elisabeth Convent was officially established, many sisters became nuns. That was how the monastic choir formed in the Convent. The Choir usually uses Znamenny, Byzantine and Valamo chants.
The Sisterhood in honour of the Holy Martyr Grand Princess Elisabeth appeared in Minsk in 1994. At that time, Father Andrew Lemeshonok, the future spiritual father of St Elisabeth Convent, had already been a priest. Five years later, in 1999, the Convent was established.
