Welcome, dear pilgrim of the digital path, to the Archives of Saint Elisabeth Convent. This consecrated space is not merely a collection of old documents, but a spiritual treasury — a chronicle of God’s steadfast grace manifested throughout the years of our monastic life and ministry.
We invite you to delve into this repository of memory to witness the enduring power of faith in action. Here, you may revisit the history of our Sisterhood’s obedience and their tireless works of mercy: the foundational stories of our social ministry, the opening of rehabilitation farmsteads, and the countless instances where a suffering soul found comfort.
The archive holds a wealth of perennial truth, including the foundational spiritual guidance and timeless sermons of our Father Confessor, Archpriest Andrey Lemeshonok. These words, though first delivered in a past moment, continue to illumine the challenges of the present day.
Browse the rich historical record of past feast day celebrations, missionary journeys, and the prayer-filled development of our obedience workshops. By reflecting upon the divine providence that guided us then, we are strengthened now. May this collection of our past inspire your heart toward your own eternal future.
We are happy to bring you the good news that as of today, half of our monastic sisters who became infected with COVID have fully recovered. Thirty sisters are still ill, most are having mild symptoms or are asymptomatic.
Some people might decide that the Church apparently blesses an event aimed at entertainment. But what if a festival turns into a pulpit for preaching the Gospel? That’s exactly what the Heart 2 Heart Festival team attempts to do.
