The bells for the church of Saint Sergius of Radonezh have arrived from the factory. All is ready for installation. The bells’ chimes will enter the lives of the women residents and inspire them to fight for their new life and their salvation.
From 17 to 26 September, Saint Elisabeth Convent takes part in the online festival of Orthodox artists, blessed and supported by His Eminence Archbishop of Thyateira and Great Britain Nikitas and the Brotherhood of the Orthodox Mission Abroad.
The Family Reunions Project based at Saint Elisabeth Convent helps families in crisis work together to mend their relationship. The participants are encouraged to find joint solutions to their problems and relearn the essential skills of communication.
We are looking forward to hearing his voice soon in the chiming of the bells of the church named in his honour. We expect it to happen soon with your donations, which recently exceeded two-thirds of the needed amount.
The feast of the Pentecost takes a special place in the life of our Convent's farmstead for disadvantaged women. We hope that very soon the music of multiple bells will remind about the joy promised to everyone who loves God.
Some 30 disadvantaged women living at our farmstead are working hard to find healing to their souls and reunite with God. We have launched a fundraising effort to procure 7 bells for the farmstead’s church, and are inviting you to pitch in.
